Information You Submit
A name, location, or other term entered in a search box is transmitted to the third-party provider that operates that tool. This site does not store or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider’s privacy terms apply to the query and any later account activity.
If you send an email or contact message, we retain the message and supplied contact details as needed to answer. We do not share those communications outside the organization unless a lawful requirement calls for disclosure.
Automatic Technical Data
Normal web operations may record limited technical and usage information when a page loads:
- Internet Protocol address;
- browser name and version;
- device category and operating system;
- pages viewed and time spent;
- the referring page, when supplied; and
- request dates and timestamps.
Cookies and similar technologies help measure site use and remember technical preferences. Browser controls can reject or remove cookies, although some functions may then work differently.
How Data Is Used
Collected information supports a limited set of site functions:
- operating and improving page speed;
- sending a search request to the selected partner;
- understanding which resources visitors use;
- detecting errors, abuse, and technical faults; and
- delivering advertising that may reflect general interests.
Outside Sites and Advertising
Links may lead to Seward County records pages, Kansas corrections resources, government portals, or commercial search providers. Once a visitor follows an outside link, that operator’s privacy policy controls its collection and use. We do not manage those systems.
Advertising providers may use their own cookies or identifiers to measure activity across websites and select ads. That processing occurs through their systems and is governed by their published choices and notices.
When Data May Be Shared
We do not sell personal information. Limited data may be available to search partners that process a query, analytics vendors that measure use, advertising networks that deliver ads, and law enforcement or another government authority responding to a valid legal order.
Security Practices
Reasonable administrative and technical measures are used to protect information under our control. No website, network, storage system, or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure, so we cannot promise that a breach or unauthorized access will never occur.
Visitors Under Eighteen
This site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. A parent or guardian who believes a minor submitted information may use the Contacts page to request review and deletion.
Your Privacy Choices
Subject to applicable law and verification, you may ask for a copy of personal data we hold, request correction of inaccurate information, seek deletion, or object to certain processing. Browser and provider controls may also limit cookies and tailored advertising. Send a request through the Contacts page with enough detail to identify the information at issue.
Changes to This Notice
This privacy notice may be revised as site functions or legal duties change. A revised version takes effect when posted here with its updated effective date.
